Avenue Five Institute’s 600-hour Hybrid Nail Technology Program is the modern answer to beauty education. Our collaborative hybrid learning environment offers added convenience and accessibility while still providing critically important hands-on training, practical salon experience, and industry support it takes to pursue a successful beauty career. With hybrid learning, you have the opportunity to train from home for a portion of the program. Without the hassle of commuting, hybrid learning can save students both time and money. Plus, you can graduate and begin your new career in less than 6 months!
Choose from one of Avenue Five Institute’s flexible YourTime™ Schedules and find the perfect time to learn. With a combination of on-campus and distance learning, our schedules allow you to balance your education with your other commitments.
Students are scheduled to attend 4 hours on-campus each day, Monday through Friday, while completing 10 hours of distance learning each week. Our flexible schedules are designed to help you avoid peak traffic hours and provide the freedom to pursue your new career, all while graduating in less than a year*!

Taught by experienced educators, Avenue Five Institute’s hybrid learning environment allows students to combine interactive online curriculum covering cosmetology theory and techniques with practical experience in a simulated salon environment, working under the supervision of a skilled instructor.
Learn the fundamentals of manicures, including nail shaping, cuticle care, and polish application. You’ll learn to deliver classic and contemporary manicures, ensuring nails are healthy and aesthetically pleasing.
Develop proficiency in providing pedicure services, from exfoliating and moisturizing feet to trimming and shaping nails. You’ll practice techniques that enhance foot health and provide a relaxing experience for clients.
Explore creative nail art techniques, including freehand designs, stamping, and embellishments. Learn to execute intricate patterns and unique designs that allow clients to express their style through their nails.
Gain expertise in applying gel nails, including preparation, curing, and finishing processes. You’ll learn to use gel products to create durable, glossy finishes and understand how to safely remove gel without damaging the natural nail.

Our North Austin Campus is ideal for students commuting from Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Lago Vista, Leander, Liberty Hill, Hutto, Taylor, Manor, and Temple.

Not all cosmetology programs are created equal. Avenue Five Institute is proud to offer a program that has been approved by established national accreditation standards. Accreditation is a voluntary process that recognizes educational programs for having achieved a measurable level of quality, performance, and integrity. Accreditation also means that a school maintains important minimum student outcomes, including completion, licensure, and employment of graduates. In addition to serving as a reliable index of quality education, accreditation is required by the US Department of Education in order to allow eligible students to participate in federal grant and loan programs.
